Windmill Village, Punta Gorda

Thank you to all at Windmill Village for such an amazing turn-out last night.

A sold-out crowd!  We are told it's the first sell-out event since the clubhouse was

rebuilt after Hurricane Charley wiped out the whole community in 2004.

Apparently, the clubhouse and all but about 20 homes were absolutely destroyed when

Charley took an unexpected turn and aimed its fury at Punta Gorda.

So, CONGRATULATIONS on rebuilding your beautiful community

and your gorgeous clubhouse.  May God bless you all.

Bay Lake Estates

Well ain't we got fun?! 

Thanks to everyone at Bay Lake Estates for making us feel so welcome last night when we

performed our show.  Special thanks to Bob & Lorna Malavolti and to Ron, and all the committee members

who helped us out so much.  Oh yeah, and especially for sending us home with that

DELICIOUS PASTA!

Can't wait to do it all again next year!

A GREAT Week

Wednesday, January 13,  we performed our show for the wonderful folks at Oak Forest in Englewood and Thursday we performed for the members of Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota. BOTH SHOWS WERE SELL-OUTS WITH FULL CAPACITY AUDIENCES.  Wow.  We are so grateful.  Great audiences and a really warm welcome in both clubhouses. 

OAK FOREST

This is Larry and Jo Izzo, our friends from Rochester NY.  They live at Oak Forest now and they've

been just wonderful to us.  They were both dressed to the nines, with Larry in full tux as

Maitre d' at the front door.

Here's me with Jo.  Stand up Jo!  Oh, you ARE standing.

(Is she laughing?)  Buddy ruined her good reputation by telling everyone

she used to be a pole dancer at Cheetah's Lounge.

Yeah, I'm so sure everyone believed THAT!

Visani Dinner Theater

Many thanks to all who came to our show at Visani Dinner Theater last night. 

And we REALLY appreciate that so many people brought their families.

It was a really COLD night, but we all stayed nice and warm inside with great food, and a good time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mark, owner of Visani who is celebrating

one of those REALLY BIG birthdays tomorrow. 

One of those birthdays that involves a ZERO.  (My lips are sealed.)

Happy New Year -Lemon Bay Isles

What a time we had last night at Lemon Bay Isles in Englewood!

Everyone had a great time (especially us!) and we were amazed when several people cheered and whooped when Buddy mentioned during the show that he's from Lawrence, Massachusetts.  Seems there are some Lawrence natives at Lemon Bay.  They knew all the bakeries and meat markets Buddy mentioned.  Pretty neat.  And now that we have a feature called "Jokes From the E-Mail" where we read jokes people send us, we got about eight new jokes told to us after the show.  Good ones too!

So we want to thank everyone at Lemon Bay Isles for inviting us to be part of your New Year's Eve celebration.  Hope to see you all again soon.
